Next Wednesday, June 19th, from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm, we organize the Conference “Emotional Intelligence, tool for social transformation” at the Rectorate Building of the University of Málaga (Avda. From 31st of March to the 6th of April, professionals from Portugal, Italy and Spain were in Palermo for the Short-term joint staff Training Event of our project “Emotional Intelligence: educational tool for developing key competences”. During the activity participants exchanged their good practices, knew the results of the local activities developed in each country and adquired new competences for carrying out a higher-quality work in the field of adult education. During the first phase of the project, partner organizations analysed the incorporation and inclusion of Emotional Intelligence in different training programmes. The main instrument used to collect the information was an online questionnaire created jointly by the entities. A text has been written for each country including similar information, although the contents have been adapted to the idiosyncrasies of each country and reality. In the framework of this Project, partner organizations identified existing good practices, where Emotional Intelligence has been included in training programmes in the field of adult education. They could select a project, an activity, a workshop or some specific methodology created or used by the organization itself or by a local partner. All organizations used the same tool to collect the necessary information.
